MerchantWARE Technology a Feature at NRA 2009 Expo
On May 17th, 2009, at the National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant, Hotel-Motel 2009 Show, Co-CEO of Merchant Warehouse, Henry Helgeson, demonstrated to Valerie Killifer, senior editor at Fast Casual, his company’s MerchantWARE technology, which encrypts credit card data at the point-of-swipe and transmits it safely across private and public networks.
In booth #5270 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Helgeson explained how the MerchantWARE technology, developed by Merchant Warehouse, protects restaurant owners, operators and their customers from credit card data theft. Helgeson also stated how the solution helps merchants to reach PCI compliance much easier, faster, and at less of an expense. “The MerchantWARE payment processing solution, which can be integrated into an operator’s point-of-sale system to conceal important transaction data, makes the information virtually useless in the event that a merchant’s POS system gets hacked,” added Helgeson.
