Merchant Warehouse’s MerchantWARE is Highlighted in TMCnet On the Web
On May 16th, 2008 Merchant Warehouse’s newest solution targeted to protect payment card data within private networks was introduced to TMCnetTM On the Web readers.
The article, titled “Merchant Warehouse Intros Solution to Stem Cardholder Data Loss”, highlights Merchant Warehouse’s MerchantWARE solution, which encrypts data at the card reader device to eliminate the threat of a security breach. Henry Helgeson, President & Co-CEO of Merchant Warehouse, shares the benefits of MerchantWARE stating, “MerchantWARE removes all sensitive data from a business’ system so there’s nothing left of value to a thief. And, with no data accessible, becoming PCI compliant is more efficient and affordable for merchants to attain.”
The solution utilizes an integrated version of Merchant Warehouse’s MerchantWARE payment gateway to enable merchants to process credit cards and manage their account securely through an Internet connection. MerchantWARE also offers extensive reporting features that allow merchants to re-charge, refund, and adjust previously processed cards without decrypting cardholder data.
