Merchant Warehouse Expert is Featured in Podcast on FastCasual.com

Merchant Warehouse’s PCI compliance officer, Markiyan Malko lends his expertise to the FastCasual.com podcast series, Ask an Expert. The podcast series will include a series of questions weekly, that address common questions on PCI compliance for restaurant operators.

In the first installment of a series, Markiyan discusses PCI basics for the small business. He explains that PCI is a set of requirements designed to help organizations protect credit card holder data set forth by the four major credit card brands, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. All requirements set by the companies were combined into one standard PCI- DSS ( Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.) He says that these standards apply to anyone who touches a credit card and that in becoming compliant the chance of getting breached is much less.

Markiyan will be featured on the site again next week answering more questions on PCI for restaurant operators.
